A couple of interesting snaps from local resident Alan showing Moor lane from 1920 (pre- Nos 1-14 Moor Lane) & circa 1950 about 10 years after the houses were built.

  • View approx.  from what is now 8 Moor Lane looking across to Rosebank Cottages.
  • Spot the pond (long since gone).

Moor Lane 1950s

  • You can clearly see the two conker trees either side of the lane (quite clearly coppiced in this picture).
  • No white lines seperating New Lane and Moor Lane (clearly Health & Safety had yet to rear its head).
