An interesting snaps from local resident Alan showing Rosebank Cottanges viewed looking south over the common from the Moor Lane  in 1920.

Fast Facts

  • In the background we can see the familiar row of Rosebank cottages.
  • This was prior to the construction of 1-15 Moor Lane.
  • This view is not possible today as the trees and shrubs have matured in the 90 years since this photograph was taken.
  • The pond has long since disappeared.
